TriMech Tips & Tricks: SOLIDWORKS Surfacing
Why Attend the Webinar?
Surfacing in SOLIDWORKS is a powerful and useful concept.
If you are interested in learning about the latest SOLIDWORKS features and functionality when it comes to solid modeling or just want to expand your solid modeling techniques in general, this webinar is for you.
Join us on Thursday, May 5th at 10:00am ET, as TriMech Training and Process Consultant, Robert Gemmell, takes you through the ins and outs of surfacing in the software. He will start with a simple task of taking surfaces and turning them into a solid part, while comparing a couple different approaches. Next, he will show how we can fix common issues when importing legacy data with bad geometry. Finally, he will go through the process of creating a master model; starting with a simple solid model that will be broken into multiple components of an assembly that are still controlled by the original master model.
During this Webinar you will learn:
- Different approaches in taking surfaces and turning them into a solid part
- How to fix common issues when importing legacy data with bad geometry
- The process of creating a master model
